Active Learning

In Year 3 we have been learning about the process of pollination. As a class, we separated into 3 groups. 1 group acted as the Bee, and the other two groups acted as groups of flowers. The bee group flew across to the first flower group, using straws to pretend to get nectar. Pollen from the first flower group stuck to the bee group. The bee group then flew across to the second flower group to get more nectar. The pollen from the bee group transferred onto the second flower group to complete the process of pollination. We successfully learned about and acted out the process of pollination! Well done Year 3!
