At SPPS, we have organised and set up maths competitions across different schools in the borough for year 6 children. It is great to have schools come to visit us and compete against us on different maths challenges. It is a great way for children to challenge their thinking but also get to meet lots of children from different schools.

The children from other schools always say how welcoming children and staff at SPPS are and how much they enjoy coming to our school to take part in the maths challenge. Children from SPPS enjoy taking responsibility for welcoming the children and staff from other schools and getting the chance to compete in the different heats across the year. 

Here we are collaborating together and being resilient when tackling a challenge.
