Parents and Families

Thank you all for a great supportive year at Stepney Park.  Thanks to everyone who has been able to attend our events and workshops and support our school and children.

The summer fair raised over £1400 for the charity Islamic Relief.  We were so pleased!! Thank you to everyone!

Watch this space for all the events coming up in our new school year.

This newsletter has loads of information about events on in Tower Hamlets this summer - many of which are free.  Don't forget you can visit many great parks, museums, and spaces in London which are free and provide huge stimulation and enjoyment for your children's active bodies and brains... so that they come back to school in September enthused to continue their learning.

Have a great Summer Holiday!

Summer Reading Challenge 2024

We’re ready! Are you ready?

The sun is shining, and the long summer holidays are looming. It can mean only one thing in libraries across the country – the Summer Reading Challenge is here!

This year's challenge, Marvellous Makers, began on Saturday 6th July, and runs through to Saturday 14th September. This FREE holiday activity encourages children to read for fun, boosting their skills and confidence. All children aged 4-11 are welcome to join.

Children can collect free rewards for their summer holiday reading. They just need to join the challenge and tell us what they have read to collect them.  Once they have read 6 books they receive a certificate and medal.

Summer Reading Challenge

As well as the Reading Challenge we also have a whole host of exciting stuff going on in our Idea Stores and libraries over the summer.

Whether it be crafting events, storytelling, drama workshops or theatre there's something for everyone! This summer sees the launch of our LEGO® Build the Change project and we'll be running workshops in every Idea Store and Library all through the summer.
