Great Greetings

We have been so impressed with the way in which pupils are arriving at school showing their polite and respectful manners. We have been seeing friendly smiles and waves, hearing loud and clear 'Good morning's, and even some brilliant questions such as 'How are you today?'.

These great manners have also been noticed as we increase our trips and visits to other places in London. We are representing ourselves and the school really well!

Class Photographs! – Boston Pioneers Academy

A reminder to all children to come to school smartly in your uniform for our class photographs on Monday 20th June and individual photographs on Tuesday 21st June. Thank you!

IMPORTANT DATES:

Monday 4th July - Sports day for y1,2,3: all parents welcome at Mile End Stadium from 1:30pm (more information to be shared soon)

Tuesday 5th July - Sports day for y4,5,6: all parents welcome at Mile End Stadium from 1:30pm (more information to be shared soon)

Wednesday 6th July - Open Afternoon: all parents welcome from 2:30pm (more information to be shared soon)

Monday 11th July - School Closed - Occasional Day for Eid

Thursday 14th July - 6 Pine and 6 Willow leavers assembly from 2:30pm

Friday 15th July - 6 Oak and 6 Maple leavers assembly from 2:30pm

Walk 'n' Talk Group

By popular demand, the Pastoral Care Team have organised a Walk and Talk Group for parents. The aim of this is to develop relationships in the community, support people learning English, explore the local area and keep fit. This will run every Thursday at 9.15 (meet up outside Smithy Street gate). The group will be led by Shipa.

Below are some photos of our parents Walk ‘N’ Talk sessions.

Our 1st walk was to Victoria Park and 2nd walk was to Tower Bridge. Parents had the opportunity to go inside the bridge for £1. As summer holiday is coming up, take your family there. To enter the Tower Bridge and get discount you will need to take with your proof of address and photo ID.
