A Vibrant Term!

We haven't let the grey skies or cold rain dampen our spirits this November.  There is brightness everywhere: in our attitudes, our work and the energy we bring to all we do.

Read on to see how our Learning Behaviours are evident across the school and see our great work and the wide variety of experiences we have been having.

Remember you can go to the Curriculum section of our website to find out all about what we are doing in our subjects this year, so you can always feel informed as to what your children are learning.

Don't forget to go to the Parental Engagement page for further updates on opportunities in school and across Tower Hamlets and check out the important dates below.

Thank you for your continued support of your child's learning and our school.

World Cup Day

We had a great Special Day on Monday, celebrating World Cup day.  We all explored different countries, did some great football activities with some super volunteers - Emdad Rahman (author/football coach) Orsane Said (coach for Wapping Women FC).  We were so lucky to have them come in and help us!

Some of us chose to watch the game.   We wonder if they heard our cheers in Qatar?!

Thank you so much Thahlima for her hard work planning and organising the day!

Parents and Families

Scholastic Book Fair | Chapelford Village Primary School

We will be welcoming all families to our School Book Fair from Scholastic.

This will run on Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th of December.

All payments will be cashless via the scholastic website.  Links to both are available below.  Staff will be there on every day to support payments.

All children are invited to enter a competition to get the opportunity to win book vouchers for the fair!  So watch out for this!

Lost Property

We unfortunately have a large amount of lost property at school that is not being claimed.  We do our best to return jumpers and clothes to children, but this is incredibly hard when the names are faded or not there at all.

We encourage children to be responsible for their things, but know this can be hard when they are not labelled clearly.

Please talk to your child about looking after their things and label them together.  Check after school if your child has all their things and remind them to look for them in the playground or the classroom.

We want to make sure that no money is wasted replacing clothes unnecessarily.

Thank you!
