Engagement Survey - Violence Against Women and Girls
The Tower Hamlets Violence against Women and Girls team are looking for your views.
The purpose of this survey is to identify local needs and issues and help inform future planning for services, programmes, and other projects that aim to reduce different forms of violence against women and girls in Tower Hamlets.
What does the term ‘violence against women and girls’ (VAWG) mean? It includes a range of crimes which disproportionately affect women and girls – these include domestic abuse, sexual violence, exploitation, stalking, ‘honour’-based abuse (female genital mutilation, forced marriage, and ‘honour’ killings), digital or online abuse including (‘revenge porn,’ ‘upskirting’), among others.
Your views are important and will contribute to Tower Hamlets becoming a safer place for everyone. We know that this topic and the questions in this survey are sensitive and it may feel triggering - please only answer the questions you want to and stop the survey at any point.
Your answers are anonymous. We will only share total numbers, percentages, themes or quotes where it is not possible to identify a person.
The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete, and has two sections:
-
About you - questions about demographic information, to help see if there are issues that specific groups are going through.
-
Needs and issues - to hear your thoughts about what is important in Tower Hamlets on this topic.
