Marvellous May

As usual there is lots of super learning happening across Stepney Park school. Our music lessons continue and Year 2 are really working hard to listen and collaborate on making rhythms together.

We have been so impressed with how Year 6 have faced their SATS exams this week and are so proud of the children. We have seen resilience and ambition this week as they have tried their best. A big thank you to all staff who have supported them so well! That is great collaboration - exactly what you would expect to see at Stepney Park!

We all Collaborate!

Take a look at the fantastic collaboration going on in the Stepney Park team this term.

Woodlands

Our school woodlands is such a fantastic space and some of our Y4 children have had the opportunity to use it to its fullest and take part in some special activities recently. We’ve been learning different types of knots that can be tied and secured around trees when putting up shelters and hammocks. We also learnt how to safely use a mallet to hammer in the pegs. Here are some photos of us working (and playing!) collaboratively during the session.

We are proud to say that we have received the Silver Award for being a Green Tree School.

Well done to all the teachers who worked so hard!

Year 5 - Ready for Year 6 Residential Trip

Thanks to all parents who attend the Year 5 trip parent meeting.

Reminder to all Year 5 parents to bring back the residential trip letter as soon as possible.

Deadline is Monday 7th June, but the sooner we get your slip the better.

We know that your children will have a fantastic time on the trip and can't wait to get your slips. Speak to your class teacher if you have any questions.
